The bottom gusset folds flat when the carrier is empty and expands as products enter the bag. These carriers do not have expanding side gussets.

375mm x 457mm x 75mm Carrier Bags

Its 75mm bottom gusset creates additional capacity for folded products and smaller boxes while retaining a manageable carrier-bag format.

This size uses a 240-gauge / 60-micron specification with a reinforced patch handle. Its 125mm bottom gusset provides more space for products with additional depth.

Because this bag is substantially wider than the other options, make sure the packed contents remain balanced and suitable for carrying by the handle.

Reinforced Punched-Out Handles

Punched-out handles sit within the body of the carrier bag, providing a convenient grip without adding separate handle components.

The handle area takes much of the strain when the customer lifts the bag. Therefore, the contents must remain comfortably below the handle opening and should not place excessive pressure on the surrounding polythene.

Handle reinforcement can differ according to the product specification. The largest 750mm x 500mm x 125mm option has a separate reinforced patch handle and uses 240-gauge / 60-micron polythene.

Protect sharp or rigid items before placing them inside any size. A reinforced handle does not prevent pointed products from puncturing the main body of the bag.

How to Choose the Correct Premium White Carrier Bags Size

Measure the complete width, height and depth of the product before choosing a carrier bag. Product shape, rigidity and weight will all affect the space required.

The expanding bottom gusset increases internal capacity, but it does not mean every product measuring the full stated width, height and gusset depth will fit comfortably.

As the bag expands around a three-dimensional product, the contents use part of the available width and height. Always allow additional clearance rather than selecting a bag with dimensions that only just match the product.

Leave enough room above the contents for the customer to grip the punched-out handle comfortably. Products that reach too close to the handle can make the bag difficult to carry and increase strain around the handle area.

For multiple products, measure their combined dimensions and consider the total weight. Place the items together as they will sit inside the carrier before taking your measurements.

If your products are bulky, pointed, unusually heavy or close to the stated dimensions, request a sample before placing a larger order.

How to Use Premium White Carrier Bags

Open the bag fully and allow the bottom gusset to expand before inserting the products.

Place flatter or slightly heavier products at the bottom, then position lighter merchandise above them. Distribute the weight evenly and avoid concentrating the contents on one side of the carrier.

Protect sharp corners, pointed packaging and projecting components with tissue paper, bubble wrap, cardboard or another suitable material.

Do not force oversized products into the bag or pull sharply against the side seams. Make sure the products sit below the handle opening so the customer can grip the carrier comfortably.

Check the handle, seams and bottom gusset before handing the packed bag to the customer. Support bulky or heavy contents from underneath when necessary.

These bags provide customer-carry packaging. They should not replace mailing bags, padded bags, cardboard boxes or other protective packaging when sending products through a postal or parcel network.

Material and Responsible Disposal

These carrier bags use flexible low-density polythene construction. Clean LDPE bags may suit specialist carrier-bag or flexible-plastic recycling collections, depending on the facilities available in your area.

Many household kerbside recycling services do not accept plastic bags or flexible films. Some supermarkets, commercial waste contractors and specialist recycling facilities provide separate collection points.
