How to Choose the Correct Gold Carrier Bag Size

Measure the complete width, height and depth of your product before choosing a carrier bag. If you plan to place several products in one bag, measure their combined dimensions rather than each item separately.

The 75mm bottom gusset increases the available capacity as the bag opens. However, the contents will use part of the stated width and height when the film expands around thick or bulky products.

Polythene construction, film thickness or potential recyclability alone does not confirm full PPWR compliance. The responsible economic operator must assess the finished packaging and its intended use against all applicable requirements, including packaging minimisation, substances of concern, recycled content, recyclability, labelling and technical documentation.

Material and Responsible Disposal

These carrier bags use flexible polythene construction. Clean bags may suit specialist flexible-plastic, carrier-bag or polythene-film recycling collections, depending on the facilities available in your area.

Many household kerbside recycling services do not accept plastic bags and flexible films. Some supermarkets, commercial waste contractors and specialist recycling facilities provide separate collection points.

Remove paper receipts, labels and other non-polythene components where practical. Food, oil, chemical residue and other contamination may prevent recycling services from accepting the bag.
