The first measurement is the width of the bag while it lies flat. The second measurement is the approximate total width when the side gussets open. The third measurement is the overall length of the carrier, including the handles.

Metric dimensions are approximate conversions or standard nominal equivalents. Please use the stated imperial dimensions as the primary size reference and request a sample if you require a particularly precise fit.

How to Choose the Correct White Vest Carrier Size

Measure the complete width, height and depth of the intended contents before selecting a carrier. For several items, measure or estimate their combined dimensions when packed together.

Remember that the second vest-carrier measurement represents the opened width, including the expanded side gussets. The contents use part of this available width as the bag opens around them.

How to Use White Vest Carrier Bags

Separate one bag carefully and open the mouth fully. Allow both side gussets to expand before inserting the products.

Place flatter or more substantial items at the bottom, then arrange smaller and lighter products above them. Distribute the contents evenly to prevent one handle or side seam from carrying an excessive proportion of the load.

Keep the products below the handle openings so the customer can grip both handles securely. Do not force oversized items into the carrier or pull sharply against the seams.

Protect pointed corners and sharp edges using tissue paper, bubble wrap, cardboard or another suitable material before placing them inside the bag.

The responsible economic operator must assess the finished packaging and its intended use against all applicable requirements, including packaging minimisation, substances of concern, recycled content, recyclability, labelling and technical documentation.

Material and Responsible Disposal

These carrier bags use flexible polythene construction. Clean bags may suit specialist carrier-bag or flexible-plastic recycling collections, depending on the material accepted by facilities in your area.

Many household kerbside recycling services do not accept carrier bags or flexible plastic films. Some supermarkets, commercial waste contractors and specialist recycling facilities provide separate collection points.

Remove receipts, labels and other non-polythene components where practical. Bags contaminated with food, oil, chemicals or other substances may not be suitable for recycling.

Where a carrier remains clean and undamaged, consider reusing it before placing it into an appropriate recycling or general-waste stream.
