The tape gun allows you to dispense, press and cut the tape in one continuous movement. As a result, it provides a faster and more convenient alternative to applying parcel tape by hand and cutting it with separate scissors.

Each tape roll measures 48mm x 66m, or approximately 1.9 inches x 216.5 feet. Together, the six rolls provide 396 metres, or approximately 1,299 feet, of clear parcel tape.

Clear Polypropylene Parcel Tape

The kit includes six rolls of clear polypropylene parcel tape. The transparent finish allows carton printing, address information and handling details to remain more visible beneath the taped area.

The tape suits everyday carton sealing, packaging, storage and dispatch applications. However, adhesion will depend on the carton surface, temperature, storage conditions and application pressure.

For the best results, apply the tape to a clean, dry and dust-free carton. Press it firmly along the complete seam and smooth down the cut end after application.

Parcel Tape Kit Suitable for 50mm Tape

The included tape gun accepts parcel tape measuring up to 50mm wide, which is approximately 2 inches. Therefore, it suits the supplied 48mm wide rolls and many commonly used replacement parcel tapes.

Replacement tape thickness, roll diameter and core dimensions can vary between manufacturers. Consequently, we recommend checking compatibility before fitting unusually large or specialist rolls.

How to Load the Tape Gun

1. Place one of the included tape rolls onto the dispenser spindle.
2. Position the roll so the adhesive side faces the carton during use.
3. Pull a short length of tape away from the roll.
4. Feed the tape beneath the guide and across the application roller.
5. Adjust the roll tension so the tape unwinds smoothly.
6. Test the dispenser on a spare carton before regular use.

Take care when feeding the tape near the serrated cutting blade.

How to Use the Parcel Tape Kit

Place the exposed end of the tape against the carton and press it firmly onto the surface. Next, move the dispenser along the carton seam while keeping the application roller in contact with the box.

Maintain steady pressure so the tape adheres evenly. Once you reach the required point, tilt the dispenser forward so the serrated blade cuts through the tape.

Finally, smooth down the cut end to help create a secure finish.
