Clear Polypropylene Peel and Seal Bags – 150 Gauge / 37.5 Micron

Our standard clear polypropylene bags provide outstanding clarity, convenient self-sealing and an attractive retail-ready finish. Manufactured from high-clarity polypropylene film, these bags allow customers, warehouse staff and fulfilment teams to identify the contents immediately without opening the packaging.

At 150 gauge, or approximately 37.5 microns thick, the film offers a useful balance of lightness, flexibility and everyday protection. The material has the crisp, glossy appearance commonly associated with polypropylene packaging, giving clothing, printed materials, gifts and retail products a smart and professional presentation.

Each bag features a self-adhesive sealing lip. Simply insert the product, remove the protective backing strip and fold the lip over to close the bag. This quick peel-and-seal design removes the need for separate tape, cable ties or heat-sealing equipment.

These sizes also feature perforated ventilation holes that allow trapped air to escape after the product enters the bag. Removing excess air can make packaged garments, documents and other products flatter, neater and easier to place inside mailing bags, boxes or storage cartons.

The smallest 5.4 x 7.4-inch / 135mm x 185mm and 6.64 x 9- inch / 166mm x 230mm sizes has a self-adhesive resealable lip but does not include a printed warning notice. Always check the individual product specification before ordering if you require a PWN or ventilation holes.

The stated dimensions show the bag width and usable height up to the seal. The self-adhesive lip sits above this measurement and does not form part of the internal packing area.

Allow extra clearance when packaging thick documents, folded clothing or products with noticeable depth. The A4 and A3 recommendations apply primarily to flat documents.

How to Measure Clear Polypropylene Peel and Seal Bags

Polypropylene bag dimensions follow the format:

Width × Height Up To Seal

Measure your product at its widest and longest points. If the product has depth, allow extra width and height so that it fits comfortably without placing excessive pressure on the side seams or adhesive closure.

These bags have a flat, non-gusseted construction. Therefore, thicker products require more clearance than flat items such as documents, cards, photographs or catalogues.

Do not include the self-adhesive lip when calculating the usable internal height. The lip extends above the stated bag size and folds over to create the closure.

If your product measurements sit close to the dimensions of a bag, choose the next available size or request a sample before placing a larger order.
